He only had higher usage this year because paul and company got hurt for a looong stretch and he was the only one who could carry the team. He scored right around 30 and was back to normal once everyone came back. We need his 30 points. Scoring less would probably be a bad sign. Who else is going to carry a consistent scoring load to make up for it? We dont have a lot of scorers actually.

He should be a little more humble or keep those names out of his big mouth. Greek Wreck. It's like watching a fullback but uglier.

Because the harden haters on this board hate every time he scores 35+ points. They want CP3, Rivers, and Gordon handling the ball more so we should do that and give them what they want.

media should’ve handed out a co-MVP this year...Brick Freak and Coach Bud

Milwaukee was just your typical low seed EC playoff team before Bud arrived and completely changed what they do on both ends of the floor

We (most of us?) knew half way through the season Giannis was getting it. When Rockets lost the 2nd seed, the door was slammed shut. Even though we knew this MVP was going to Giannis, the break down is pretty disappointing.

You know it's bad when they have to explain their votes. I think the voters are surprised by how skewed the voting was. They will all look back and wonder how Harden lost this MVP in 5-10 years.

Ah Well, on to the next one. I came to terms with this long ago. I'm not even mad.

I doubt it...haters always hate. They will say it is because of Jimmy Butler that we won...not Harden. . Even if Harden leads the League with an average of 35/10/10 plus the most wins in the League, Jimmy Butler will be their excuse not to vote for Harden. Haters have to have excuses to hide their hate.

I'm not even mad either...just disappointed. Especially by Kenny Smith. I lost all respect I had for him tonight.

2nd seed might have made the vote closer but Giannis won this award back in November/December. Giannis also has a spectacular year so credit to him for doing his part.

Let me guess, Kenny was towing the company line with the anti Harden narrative as usual.

Why can’t they just announce all the winners between the regular season and the playoffs? I don’t understand the need for the delay.

Is this awards show that big a money maker? I’ve never tuned in for it. But I suppose it keeps people talking about the NBA a bit longer into the off-season.

    WRONG Hardwood!

If Harden has the best team record next year, team record is removed from the equation from MVP.
