    lets keep the what "happened" until he actually does retire.

    maybe you should make it: "happens".

    i would like to think that mutombo has one more year in him :D

    Maybe he's just gonna retire for the first half of the season and then unretire after the second half... like he did this year. Of course hopefully next time it won't be because of anyone's injury.
