It is written after the Denver's game. Enjoy! Link Dear fans; I am writing today late after a long flight to Houston from Denver. I am please with all of you who are logging in my blog everyday. You have given me the work to do. The Houston Rockets' game against the Nuggets was the last appearance of the Rockets Center Dikembe Mutombo in Mile High City, Denver in Colorado. It was very emotional for me. Before the game started. I asked all of my teammates to play hard and get a victory for me. I was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 1991: on the 1st Round. I played there for 5 years. I had a great experience playing in Denver. Too bad they did not want to sign me after my first 5 years. Life goes on. It is a beautiful City and I still have so many fans in the state of Colorado. Today game was about honor for Mutombo by a great group of Rockets teammates, who love their big brother for getting things right in the lock room this year. Before the game started. I spoke to them and what this game meant to me as my last one. It was also 3 minute of introduction of my career to the fans in Denver. I broke in tear on my eyes because I could not believe its. It has been such a longtime since I left the City of Denver. I am touch by the love that I received today. As they said: "it is always good to stay on the top when you get there" you have to keep working hard everyday to earn the respect. On my life, I have done its. To go back to the game, We started the game in the first half with 45-40. And We came back on the 3er quarter and put them out of their building. All the work was done by everyone but Artest and Brooks gave us a lift to win its all. Yao had 15 point and 7 rebound while Scola, my friend from Argentina had 15 rebounds. Louis has been playing so well so us. We are very happy to have him. The Denver tried to tie the game but our free-throw was good to beat them. This time is good feeling in our lock room because we have been able to win 11th win in 13 last games. We are just working together to make something happen. We are growing taller and stronger everyday. Final score 97-95 in our favor. For the Nuggets, my former team. They continue to sunk as they lost 8 games in 11 games. As a veteran, I am happy to see Brooks growing up every game. Dear fans, I will write more on the Lakers we face them on wed. See you...... Mutombo

How can you not play Mutombo on a night like that ? Why did nobody mention the fact he was honoured ? I'm really saddened by the way his career is ending...
Aww damn, that video reminded me of Luther Head, Steve Novak and Bobby Jackson. Sure they sucked at bball, but you can't really ask for better players to root for than those guys
so I was youtubing some Mutombo and came accross this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy53ez4rw6w Bill mentioned that the red rowdies started by Jeff Van Gundy started and T Mac joined in later? That's cool I didn't know that
Here is the updated blog after the Laker's game: Link Dear fan, We are hurt by this loss. We understand that it is part of Sports. There were not way the Kobe could score 12 points in 1:42m. We make a lot mistake with 23 turnovers. We can not win the game the closed if you turned the ball like that. I hope that we can learn from its and play hard in Charlotter tomorrow. See yours, Mutombo
THe blog is updated after the Hornet's game: Link Dear Fans, It was good today for us to win the game in New Orleans Arena against Hornets this win gives us the edge over the Hornets. It was the first that I got a chance to play in the long time. My friend, Yao Ming was sick and the coach asked me if I want to start. I told him that I had done its before so it is going to be the first time. I was like someone who was driving on the street and they asked to enter the auto bond in Germany where I went from 0 mile to 150 miles in the hour. I did its. It calls readiness. When you are a great professional ball player like me. You are ready everyday. Even you are not playing a minute. You want to stay ready. I hope that you loved those blocks and fingers waiving. At 42 years of age. I still got its. Thanks for all the great fans out there. Dikembe Mutombo
