you can't book it because Asik is a perfect fit and Lin has the trade value of a bag of chips with a huge contract.

I think Delfino speaks the truth as always....our offense is too "predicatable." What do you geniuses think he is talking about when he says that? Hmmm.

    Yeah.

Maybe it's because Delfino knows Harden should be passing it to Lin and letting Lin run the offense.

    ;)

I hear a little hand violin being played because in "your" eyes guys aren't being "utilized correctly...."
Funny I see the good, or better players never play with restraints. The 3pt shot might be taken more, but was passing up an open shot to turn it over a better play (bc there is a chance that could happen), just as the wide open shot could go in...

Players find ways to play, and score. When Harden is shooting poorly he works at other things, like continuing to drive to the hoop, and create open opps. For the players..

I agree with threadstarter. rockets keep making the same mistake over and over again with their players instead of learning from them. rockets lost for giving their best players play-off type minutes in a friggin regular season game. that's one of the main reasons why prime t-mac was never healthy.

At a minimum, shooting at 41percent and turn over the ball over 4 times a game is not efficient enough. Harden needs help and coach is too stupid to see that or stubborn or timid to try others.

The Coaching on this team sucks. Terrible defense all around and our offense just looks like give the ball to harden, set a screen for him and eehhhh....just see what happens...

Mchale needs to go. We need a real coach with a real offense and/or someone that can get us playing defense.

hahaha ... WOW, that was fast!

People who keep saying we should give the others more shots, we did democratize the offense. Only the last couple of games, players (not named Harden) have been missing their shots. CP since his shoulder injury, Asik since his bout with flu or injured nose etc. Delfino has been hot and cold. At least TD has been giving his best impression of a 3pt shooter.

The only thing we've not consistently tried is lengthen the rotation. Try DCook, TJones and DMo more when we can't score.

I think though McHale wants to fix the defense first, so DCook and rookies will stay glued to the bench.

What the rockets are doing to Harden currently starts to resemble what Dantoni did to Lin last season..... riding him too hard that he will eventually break down physically, despite his young age... hopefully he will not get season ending injury.. The minutes given and the expectations to carry the team alone is too much for someone used to be 6th man... should be more careful with a 80 millions investment..

These Harden-"sucks-ballhog-selfish" threads are really made by disgruntled Lin fans.

No matter how you bash Harden for doing what he is being paid to do, its not going change the fact that right now, Lin shouldn't be a starter in this league.

A better point guard would actually improve the flow of the offense

It's funny how when we're losing some people tend to lash out at the one player on our team who is willing to shoulder the offensive load on his shoulders and is doing a good job of it.

It's also amazing because Harden tries to get other players involved. But when they aren't shooting well, they pass up open shots and pass the ball too much. But unlike anyone else on the team, Harden has what it takes, and is willing to try and carry the team through rough stretches.

Chandler has always been a decent 3 point shooter. Lin, as any PG should be working on that shot, it's part of a guard's game.

It's always strange that some people are picking on the one guy on our team who's excelling and doing just about everything right for us.

What is all this BS about Harden's defense. Actual statistics say you are dead wrong. Stop making things up.

Dude, its just angry Lin fans.

They are trying their best to rationalize why Lin has sucked...thats it.

Most don't really know basketball, they just want to see Linsanity

To be fair, it's the extreme Lin fans that are doing it.

There are moderate ones who know Lin needs to improve on his shooting, and his chemistry with Harden still need time to improve.

And then there are extreme ones who come up with conspiracy theories and blame everyone but Lin on his failures.
