I'll need about a seven-hour heads up since I'm making the roadie from Katy. That would be awesome, man.
Timely bump, ATD86. Ziggy, I can bring you some No Label beer from Katy. It'll be warm by the time I get there, but I'll still bring it!
man i would give away my first born to go to that... no lie. dbt just doesn't do it for me anymore. 5 years ago i couldn't imagine not seeing them anywhere, especially a place like fitz, but i just have no desire. the last 2 times i've seen them i was bored outta my mind for half the show. if i grow a wild hair i may drive to austin to catch greensky bluegrass.
Getting my tickets today for Avett Bros and Old Crow Medicine Show in New Braunfels (Whitewater Amphitheater) in June
You didn't get tickets? Can't be that hard, bruh. Waiting on someone to get off a rodeo shift so I can't give it away until literally the last second.
That's cool man. I didn't try too hard and have other plans, so was basing my decision to go on if you had an extra. I've seen them both in the last couple years and have tix to TV On The Radio next Sunday anyway. Thanks and enjoy!
just bought a ticket to austin psych fest. Super excited for Spiritualized and Fuzz and Primal Scream and Tame Impala and Lightning Bolt. debating on whether to go to sleater-kinney this weekend at warehouse live. was gonna do one of FJM or Wilco but FJM sold out and Wilco is pretty expensive and im on a bit of a tight concert budget right now (specially after buying the Psych Fest pass). Seeing Sufjan Stevens on May 11, and going to Bonnaroo in June. Also wouldn't mind going to FPSF as i like the line-up, but the prices this year are terrible. $190 for a two day fest is bad.
Anyone else going to see The Cure on their North American Tour? They're coming to Austin, Dallas, Houston, El Paso 5/13-5/17. Spoiler <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aNBJ1rBAlN8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I was really hoping to go see Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats in Austin this week but I waited too long to get tickets...
Saw Wrenfro at Cottonwood last night. Former lead singer from Fastball + lead singer from Soulhat = good times. They put on a really good show. Great mix of original stuff and covers (Pink Floyd's Fearless was especially awesome).
