    Was watching a show on the making of the album Aja and realized how much I reaaly liked Steely Dan and have been grooving since, these songs are masterpieces in my book.

    I don't know if I've posted this before, but to vary things a bit (and because I was on an Irish/Scottish kick several months ago) :

    I think it's one of the most beautiful things I've heard... I'd ride into battle with it!!



    Something about the drumbeat that is what music is meant to be (you really need some subs) :



    Sound quality not quite as good :

    Just recently dove into their catalog. Maybe when you become old enough you start to appreciate "dad rock" more and more. :)

    Dude really influenced me as a musician. A lot of people don’t know how in love with drum machines Prince was.

    I get a lot of my electronic influence from his earlier stuff. He’s my all time fav single musician.

    Been a fan since Dirty Mind was the 1st songs that made me feel some kind of way and made me realize how powerful music can be.

    That cassete and a walkman were the most wonderful things as a young guy.

    When you were mine was a revelation and Got a Broken Heart spoke to me.
