I've been on a huge Stevie Wonder kick lately, and I got into a debate with a friend (guitarist) the other day. Who do you think is the most influential "Stevie" in the music business? Wonder Spoiler Vaughn Spoiler Nicks Spoiler A Google search of "Stevie" yields: 1. Stevie Wonder 2. Someone named Stevie Coyle (fingerpicking guitarist) 3. Stevie Nicks 4. SRV
Geez, why do you even ask this? Nothing against SRV or Nicks, but there have been very few artists that released the following albums back to back to back to back that were the caliber of: Talking Book Innervisions Fulfillingness First Finale Songs in the Key of Life Granted, Wonder hasn't done a whole lot since (most of his stuff is very pleasant sounding schlock that comes NOWHERE close to his '70s stuff) but then again I believe the man deserves to coast until he is ready to retire/die. In all honesty, you had been better off to do this between SRV, Nicks, and Stevie Winwood.
