you know it's pretty bad when Purity Ring and Miike Snow have their names in large font....not that theyre bad but not that good especially for a big a festival as this one.
judging by that weak lineup, guns n' roses must have been expensive...and at best they will probably only give you a 20 minute set.
Guns and roses sells the festival. They could put anybody up there and it wouldn't matter. Do they only sell 3 day passes, if not I imagine with gnr there and a weak lineup that they won't make very many if any 1 day passes.
all I was saying is that GNR makes the rest of the line up irrelevant to criticism either way. no matter if they think it's a week lineup are strong line up. Gnr id there.
You know you're getting old when: You used to know 80% of the bands playing Coachella (and you used to attend) and now you know 8%
10 replies and nobody has mentioned the fact that ****ing LCD ****ing Soundsystem is reuniting for Coachella 16?
this and grimes (as said above) in people's opinions it may be a weak lineup. but year after year after year there are a lot of groups i would rather see at coacella than i would ever want to see at ACL (except for the first 3 years or so forever ago)

That Friday lineup of LCD, M83, The Kills & Underworld is sick. ...and get with the times Xers! The only Grimes <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/38882881?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe> <p><a href="https://vimeo.com/38882881">Grimes - Oblivion</a> from <a href="https://vimeo.com/user3897059">Emily Kai Bock</a> on <a href="https://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>
The Damned is by far the biggest draw in the lineup for me. There's plenty of others that I would like to see but most of them, I've seen in other venues. I've never seen them. I don't really care about GnR.
