Is there anyone we can write to for this:

I was thinking before I went to the game on Sat. how freakin awesome it would have been if they busted out with the way they did the starting lineup in the 90's. They already show a clip of Drexler from the championship era, something is said but I didnt catch it, but imagine how the TC would absolutely EXPLODE if they blasted the techno song from back in the day along with a clutch city III tribute.....

...lets face it the opening sequence they have now has to be the most embarrassing, not too mention boring, in the NBA....it's almost as bad as the drums, the crowd is no where near fired u the way we were with the techno stuff. Pay attention if you go to the game on Thursday how DEAD the crowd is after the announce the lineup...might as well be empty.

....What do you guys think??and does anyone know who we can send an email to suggest it?

I agree 200% with you....remember "Rockets liftoff"...that song would make the hairs on my neck rise.....it was so loud and the crowd was into it...I dont even know what song we have now...I am sure the song writers/producers/artist are paying Les a fee to play the song for the intro.

Yea... "The Who" is really dying to have their song played at a Rockets game...

There's nothing wrong w/ the starting lineups, IMO....

I have to disagree, I think the pregame intro is perfect. My only complaint was that when I went to some games during the regular season they had the volume on the music and player intros turned down lower for some reason. But when I went to game 3 last thursday they had corrected this , and it was nice and loud.

    Our pregame intro kicks ass.

The opening is great - the rocket especially - but ya'll have to admit that the old song got the blood pumping a bit more.

    It seemed louder.

I love The Who. I mean love them! I just don't think their songs fit into the opening of an NBA game well.

We've got bigger issues than this though.

The current intro is ok. Not great but not that bad either. It would be pretty cool if they busted out the old Rockets theme for the playoffs. That would really get the crowd fired up.

I think just the fact that it would bring back so many memories just like when i saw the video montage they play right efore the starting lineups.

WHen i saw that i was loving it..now if they only made that video longer and the music was brought back it would be crazy...
