yeah...totally jealous to not draft a great WR who doesn't put up very good fantasy numbers, typically.

He puts up amazing numbers, as you know, but his propensity to get injured these last couple of years makes him a little bit less valuable.

I'm a fantasy football player, but I completely agree that I cannot stand it when people post with nothing else but to say that a player is hurting their fantasy team. Nobody cares.

Ima - everyone and their momma plays fantasy football. It's for real men.

But that would be last thing on my mind even if I was a AJ owner. DD, that was the first thing you brought up in the game thread yesterday. I agree with Diehard. Nobody cares.

I'm nervous about the MRI results. Hopefully, it'll be out soon.

I play too, but I hate seeing it getting mixed in with real football talk. I even see sportscasters and radio hosts doing it and it bugs the crap out of me.

Sorry, just a big pet peeve of mine.

Neither Moss or TO fits the "good character" profile for this team. We don't need to upset the chemistry over a few missed games.

There's been a few of them. Like the others said, probably best to keep them in the fantasy subforum.

OPENING HIT: In Houston, there is both excitement and dread. Excitement because the Texans are 3-1 and finally showing some toughness. Dread, because Andre Johnson injured his hamstring. The fear is that Johnson may miss a few weeks, at least. "If we have to go without him for a period, we're going to have to ask some guys to really step up to the plate," coach Gary Kubiak said.

Some in the organization were privately saying they felt Johnson's chances of playing this week were extremely slim. The interesting thing about the Texans is that after Johnson went out the team did exactly what Kubiak wanted. Everyone played better particularly the defense. If that Texans defense continues to play the way it did against Pittsburgh the Johnson injury won't be as crushing.

While I agree with this, my concern is that the scheme is predicated upon a stretch receiver opening up the field for Walter, Daniels, and Foster underneath. I've got virtually no faith in Jacoby stepping in and filling that void. Personally, I still don't get how he stole his contract this offseason.

I will say, Moss probably won't (and shouldn't) ever see another contract after the way he urinated all over 3 locker rooms last season.

But they aren't the only options, are they? There's nothing keeping the Texans from filling the void with a trade.

Honestly, the Texans don't have to go the AJ/Moss route. Trades are still available and there must WRs out there that are better than Jacoby Jones right?

To be completely honest... I think missing Andre wont hurt as much as missing Foster for extended periods of time. We just saw how valuable Foster is to the offense, probably more so than Andre and I freaking love Andre. Kubes will come up with different schemes to incorporate more TE's in Andre's absence. I think it should be ok.
