Not digging what I have seen so far. Though Keaton looks very promising as a villain.

feels like spidey has been in high school forever.
hollywood should have like an 007 thing going for spidey so they won't to tell the same slightly different origin story all the time.

I liked it. Cast feels like a winner from trailer. Batman and Birdman and Spiderman all together.

Who goes to a super hero movie for the plot. I think other than civil war I don't know how many super hero movies deviated from the standard fare. Even Logan you could kind of guess what was going to happen due to Hugh Jackman retiring.

Funny. My friend and I just had this discussion regarding the trailer. The issue with me is that studios don't need to detail the villain's motive, Peter's struggles and give away any cameos. Leave some surprises for the film.

That makeshift suit reminds me of scarlet spider. That would be a really cool story line we haven't seen in the movies yet.

Yeah, i'm the weirdo for not wanting to know everything about the movie before I actually see a movie.

That's ****ing stupid. Yeah let's grab Spidermans most infamous villain (& honestly, one of the few powerhouses in the spidey uni) & make him non-canon.

They're totally going to to botch this franchise again.

Whatever, it's Spiderman, he's probably one of the weaker marvel Heroes, botching his franchise isn't as bad as botching the F4.

I think Spiderman goes back to Sony in late 2019 anyways. Unless someone does something...

Sony is really a joke when is comes to the blockbuster game. They are thirsty as hell for any franchise. Given that Marvel still collects all merchandise earnings and it keeps their franchise fresh, there's no way they wouldn't jump at the chance to help get the Venom character in the MCU. Can you imagine the hype bump Venom would get rolling with the Guardians of the Galaxy for a movie.

They're letting you in on their preposterously lucrative film universe, just shut up and let Marvel make you money. But I just know they're gonna f**k this and Spidey up somehow.

Why hasn't Spider-Man ever been shot and killed? Is he just so fast he dodges bullets? That suit isn't made of nothing special from what I've seen.

It's the same line of reasoning as to why Superman couldn't have just snapped Batman's neck at the beginning of that movie and it would be over. ;)

Yes...I'm being dumb. The answer is money of course.

Is that the same sense a spider gets right before I step on it? It didn't seem to help the spider much. I'm imagining a hail of bullets from multiple directions.
