any LA or NY Clutchfans seen this film yet? Considering its star power I'm surprised it's going the limited release route. It starts October 15 at the Landmark River Oaks in Houston but no mention when or if it's coming to Angelika, Cinemark, Edwards or AMC theatres. also it seems like Jude Law is in a bunch of movies this fall (Huckabees, Sky Captain, Alfie, Closer)
He's going to be in 6 movies in about a 4 month span. Is this Huckabees movie the weird existential flick? Because I wanted to check that out. It looked funky and I'm always up for something that's quirky and out of the ordinary.
I'm dying to see this. "Have you ever transcended space and time?" "Uh, time not space........no I don't know what you're talking about" "Jesus is never mad at us if we live with him in our hearts." "I hate to break it to you, but he is he most definately is." "you can't deal with my infinite nature, can you?" "That is so not true, wait, what does that even mean."
The first time I saw the trailer, my best friend, my fiancee and I were in tears. The security guard taking out the guy in parking lot while yelling "You can't park your tree here", was freaking hilarious, can't wait to see it.
Isn't it weird that weird is the only word that doesn't follow the "I before E, except after C" rule?
Anybody else see this now that it is out on dvd? I watched it last night and huh? I guess I am just stupid. It wasn't horrible I just got lost halfway through it. I also watched Sideways....great, great flick! Makes you want to drink wine all day! At least it did me.
If any of ya'll like this move you'll love FLIRTING WITH DISASTER it has Ben Stiller in it before he started doing all his mainstream crap... It's a great movie and made by the same people that made HUCKABEES
I rented it the other day and watched about half of it. I was too distracted by our kids and never finished it. I sent it back to Blockbuster because I wanted to get Meet The Fockers and Sideways.
I wouldn't say it was horrible. I usually love these kind of movies......I just couldn't follow this one as easily. Definitely creative minds went into making it though. It might take me a second time watching it to get it.
Neverheard of the movie, wish we would watch movies in my Philosophy class...instead we talk about Moral Objectivism
Not a bad preimse, but terrible screenplay and terrible directing. The only good thing about it was Mark Wahlberg.
