She pretty much had a contingency plan for every possible outcome. That semen that Affleck thought was thrown away, well it wasn't. She kept a stash and impregnated herself and was going to announce it to the world. Affleck then feels trapped because there is no way he can let his kid grow up without him because he's sure he will lose the custody battle. There was no love making scene just a devious b**** forcing her husband to stay.

They don't show it, it was a quick conversation between them.

It was good, but got too redonkulous at the end. It also could've been shorter. Freaked out when the wife
slit NPH's throat. Poor dude always dies in movies.

I thought this was a really good movie. Good plot, characters, direction, and acting.

The pace was great and the mystery kept you gripped through the first half, then the second half kept you wanting more. Had great moments of humor as well.

It's crazy how manipulative and well-calculated all the moments were. Sure, there are plot holes and things that don't add up, but I don't think it ruins the enjoyment of the movie unless you're one of those people.

Liked it more than I thought I would considering I knew nothing about it going in. Probably a 9/10 for me.

I can't believe this is the prequel to the new batman movie.

Bruce Wayne sure is going to be mindfked with all these thirsty hoes lusting over him before he fights superman.

Ben Affleck's inability to act made him absolutely perfect for this role, that indifferent emotionless face

I just want to watch it to see how many times Ben will do that one gesture where he looks like he's opening two invisible doors in front of him with his palms. He does this at least three times per movie.

luckily, his bad acting was upstaged by his sister's even worse acting.

    question:
can somebody explain what the hell the dipping the shirt in the wine, then wiping he vaj with it was all about? was it just part of staging abuse with the wine bottle as part of her story, or did i miss something?

Maybe to convey the forced sodomy? She did stick one up her ass later in the film...

Yep. She did that, then went in front of the homes security cameras.

Why would you assume New York? It was obviously in Missouri where he lived.

I liked the movie but thought it was overhyped. I was kind of going with the whole thing that Affleck's character did do it but when everything started lining up too perfectly, I knew something was up.

I enjoyed the first half of the movie much better than the second half. It got way too crazy.
