Went to see it because my girlfriend wanted to, and I'd have to say it was pretty bad. I didn't hear any LOL moments in the crowd at all and at most I had a few chuckles. I think that the critics who liked it were either women or men afraid to give it a bad rating because of the backlash. Busting ghost is still a man's job.
I can recall countless sci fi action movies with female leads that nerds love. Alien, Terminator, Star Trek: Voyager. Haven't seen the movie, but critics claiming the hate stems from misogyny are full of ****.
Now someone somewhere said something racist on the internets so Leslie Jones is angry. It got beat by Pets and will go up against Star Trek Fast and Furious which is getting shockingly (to me) good reviews. This movie is toast. I just watched Green Room this weekend and losing Anton Yelchin is a tragedy for film fanatics. Will go watch Beyond even though Into Darkness was a steaming pile of crap.
It would be worse. Then you would have direct comparisons between the current comedians and all time greats in the performance of their life. This gimmick saved the movie from that and provided a shield from criticism. Critics are scared to call this movie for the POS it is because of backlash. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GWQeSIEQzCs?rel=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You are using comments from youtube to prove your point and im dumb? I used real examples of popular sci-fi female leads.
Alt-right gamer cucks were angry about this movie before it was even in production. If Pepe were still alive, he'd be rolling over in his grave from shame. RIP
Did she suffer any sort of backlash for stealing jokes? Poor Carlos Mencia is an assistant manager at a La Porte Panera Bread.
