[Movie] Drive

I saw this last week and I liked it a lot

the pace of this movie is slow just as a warning and there isnt much dialogue in it but the shots and subtext in the film were amazing. all that then with the sudden violence and action in the film makes it great.

 

i was thinking this was going to be a fast and furious type movie, and therefore suck, but i'm surprised by the reactions it is getting. Will definitely be checking this out.

I just got back from it and was very impressed. The sudden violence you described was very similar to a Tarantino flick, but the dialogue not so much since the lead character was so soft spoken.

This was a very well done movie, and much better than the previews make it look. 9/10.

 

I didn't recognize her at first until I got a side profile and saw those amazing breasts.

 

Yeah I hear the movie is like early Michael Mann/Scorcese

The trailer was fantastic. I'll probably not get to see until it comes out on dvd though, as any night out away from the kids will probably involve a less "manly" movie

 

Would watch if it was Camaro instead of a boring old Mustang

 

very good movie. ditto to what others have said about the "sudden violence". cringe worthy stuff.

was happy to see cliff martinez doing the score in the opening credits. i plan on buying it today. for those unfamiliar check out the solaris score by him.

 

I thought it was ok. On the other hand, I've never heard so many people say "This is the worst movie I've ever seen" as the theater was clearing...
