Agreed. I was going to say... Spoiler When he was at the mansion and mentioned he only ever saw those 2 X-men and mentioned Fox being cheapskates, that got a huge "OOOOOOH" from the crowd. Biggest of the night, and there was constant laughter throughout. Loved it.
You're making a grievous mistake, sir. This is the type of comic book movie everyone should be supporting.
Everyone on the PLANET will 'wait for Civil War'.. because it's in the FUTURE. What makes YOU such a special snowflake, that you have to come into the Deadpool thread (a movie which has received near universal praise by the way), to announce to hundreds of total strangers that YOU are apparently not going to see Deadpool, and will instead sit idly by and 'WAIT' for a movie which essentially everyone here is ALSO 'waiting' for. So, in that respect, that makes you.. not special at all. Less in fact. Was it your intention to go out of your way to bring attention to the fact that you are less special than everyone else? If so, well done. My favorite part is the 'thanks' on the end.. as though.. everyone in this thread had offered.. urged.. nay BEGGED you to go see Deadpool... kind of like, when you are eating at Fogo de Chao.. and you have the green side up, and the guy with the sausages runs over to offer you one, and you condescendingly hold up your hand and say, 'I'm waiting for the bacon-wrapped filet mignon. Thanks.'
Entertaining and a great comedy. Doesn't take itself too seriously. I could do without the romance, however. Saw it in an empty theater (probably only like 10 of us), which was weird, because there was another showing in the next studio which was almost full house, which ran parallel to mine (only a 15 min difference). Wondered why mine was empty. I enjoyed the gore, which was surprising. The love story killed it for me tho. 7/10 max because of love story.
Not you Seclusion, I forgot to edit the quote. You're Cool. Hell I'll watch comic book movies just to see Seclusion's input on it. Nero is still a douche-nozzle.
No one has mentioned that Reynolds was a net minus, though. I think the source material overrides how people should feel about Reynolds. Going to see this movie tomorrow.
He wasn't, in fact I don't think anyone else could have done even as good a job. The role was pretty much made for him.
Exactly...the best part of the X-men origins movie was him before they decided to take some liberties with the Deadpool character at the end
