Yeah I can't tell because he said April Fools. Well IGN is blocked at my work, but they are saying it will be R http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/04/01/deadpool-r-rating-confirmed-by-ryan-reynolds-and-deadpool
In other words you know nothing about the character. ---- Side note, it's definitely going to be rated R. That's why they're shooting a "low budget" film. Also, I can't wait.
So you're blaming the actor for that **** movie? I don't think you get how these films get made either. Besides, he should have never been casted for that role. He wasn't the problem with that movie though, the movie was the problem with that movie. He was pretty much born to play Deadpool. Ordinarily I would agree with you, but so far they've done everything correctly. Every bit of media that has come out has been gold and true to the character. If you've watched the leaked screen test, or the April Fool's announcement you know what I'm referring to. All of the original people who were tied to this movie are involved, and they're making it R. It has a very strong chance of being good.
I was watching the trailer and panel from Comic Con on this. Apparently, the crowd saw the trailer and then chanted to show it one more time. They were that enthralled with it. A fan filmed the trailer shown on the second go. The reception was apparently great for the film...like redemption for Ryan from "The Green Lantern" film. From what I saw in the trailer, I saw typical Ryan Reynolds dawning a new costume with some new moves and Ryan Reynolds-style comedic one-liners. I'm still wondering what was so great about it? Maybe you need to be a comic book fan of this character to "get it"? I honestly don't know what to think. I guess it is supposed to be more edgy with its R rating. I'm left wondering if this is going to be any good and if the (over)reaction by the panel crowd wasn't just because it is Comic Con. I dunno...I don't get it. Maybe it will be good and not cheesy?
To do the character justice, it HAS to be cheesy. I think a lot of the reaction was due to how long people have been wanting a Deadpool movie along with the fact that they got the hard R movie that would be necessary to do it justice.

Awesome! I already cant wait for deadpool and spiderman to trade verbal jabs at each other in the next movie 2 summers from now. So cited.....!
I thought that Utah line was a total miss, at first. I don't get the February release, but at least it's only 6 months from now.
