Only one director bailed (Affleck...who is still acting in the movie.). Reeves was in talks only.

IF you are going to defend to this extent answer me this. Why can't they make good movies? How hard can it be to make a decent Superman movie? I really really liked the Nolan movies, I had high hopes and saw SS in theater. Why is WB/DC a dumpster fire right now in your view?

Zach Snyder. Man of Steel was a decent movie. The Extended cut of BvS was a much better movie. I think it is part Director/part Studio. DC started to take more control with JL, however, I don't know if their influence is enough for that movie (since the script was done and it was just starting to film when they did it.). Wonder Woman will be the interesting movie. Different Director/writers. No Zach Snyder influence. Synder is not directing or writing any other movies after JL.....so the quality of Aquaman, The Flash, and even the Batman should be better just because of that. Could JL 1 be decent.....we shall see. Not every Marvel movie is great, but Marvel has their hands over their movies.

Man of Steel wasn't bad. This is from a person that thinks Batman V Superman was awful.
I think Scott Snyder is okay at doing action, but I don't think he understands the actual characters and/or their motivations.

Nothing wrong with playing a little hard ball on the director's side. If they're paying Snyder to build this universe they shouldn't have a problem paying Reeves then.

Yeah, no one wants to be in charge of a bad product unless they're getting paid a ton.
