If they made about... 3 or 4 more Superman movies, touching on all his iconic villains and actually building his character, establishing him. And another 1-2 Batman's with JGL as Batman. Then went with the Bale Batman (Joker can kill JGL I guess, like the original Robin or go with a different villain to kill JGL or make JGL Nightwing for whatever reason) using inspiration from the Dark Knight Rises storyline (even though they used a bit of it already in Rises) this could be really, really, really cool. Especially since it'd be easier to start introducing "mutants" and weirder Batman characters with the Superman universe taking shape. And JGL could carry Batman into this new "super powered" realm, then Bale finishes it the old fashioned way... Instead DC couldn't wait to milk the cow so they're doing Superman a disservice by forcing him to share a movie with someone else instead of establishing him. Sounds stupid. Glimmer of hope since Nolan is attached but I'm sure it's just for the money. Snyder is a terrible choice for this man. Whedon who I love wouldn't even be the right choice.
Nolan should have just walked away after TDKR. You can only keep going to the same well before the law of diminishing returns takes effect.
It is. Its a great graphic novel to draw inspiration from for Batman. I'm thinking there will be a feud between the two at first with them teaming up towards the end of the film.
The superhero genre in general has been stale, boring, and predictable. The only reason the Batman franchise was so good was because Nolan is a good film director in general, and basically used superhero characters to make a crime film. I'm so tired of the genre as a whole.
so...........JGL as batman? does he even have a deep voice? or we could just go back to normal voice tone edit: sorry, for double posts
Benedict Cumberbatch as Batman would be awesome. Or even Fassbender. Then cast Donald Glover for Flash and profit.
Exactly. I don't even think Nolan was that much involved with MOS. They just put his name on there to attract all the Nolan fans, like me
Directors who might do a decent job at this type of movie: Christopher Nolan JJ Abrams James Cameron Guillermo del Toro Steven Spielberg

It was in the The Dark Knight Rises? When? Who was Clark? I'm pretty skeptical. I find Superman to be far and away the least compelling character...and I tend to prefer gritty/real feel of Nolan's Batman series from a universe where aliens can only be killed with a magic rock from another planet. Combining those 2 just seems misplaced to me.
