I believe you're incorrect. Panthers can be leopards or jaguars, but not all leopards or jaguars are panthers. Panthers specifically are black and have a form of pigmentation which makes them look that way. Essentially they're reverse albinos.

 

I would like for them to at the very least introduce him as Black Panther and then after that just call him Panther or T'Challa

Could be, but I'm pretty certain the scene you see his shield broken on, him and all the other Avengers are dead with Tony Stark standing over them. (this is from the descriptions of the ComicCon trailer which I personally haven't seen)

 

I only associate the name "Panther" to chinese kung fu masters.

There's like 2 or 3 black African actors who get all the roles that require an accent. As huge as Africa is, I have to imagine they could find someone new that would be really talented.

I get tired of seeing the same 2 or 3 stock actors that Hollywood goes to when they need a foreign accent.

I love Christopher Waltz, too, but if I learned everything from Hollywood, I'd assume everybody powerful in Germany was all cloned from the same human being. Same with Scandinavian countries and Skarsgard family.

Mix it up a bit. Same is true with the guy who was in "Guardians". Seeing him in the role would be to least inspired casting job ever.

I'm guessing every action scene will be all CGI anyway. How about David Oyewolo. He's not too overexposed yet.

 

I used to think White was too old but RDJ is still doing this in his 50s(?) so Michael Jai could as well. He has the martial arts but can he do a convincing and not insulting accent

 

How about Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko from Lost) for Black Panther? I always pictured the Black Panther being him for some reason.

The black panther should be Caucasian. Too many blacks in the Marvel universe already. Nick Fury, War Machine, Black Widow.

 

The first movie I saw him in was Serenity; I'd definitely be with it.

If we want the African accent I've got the perfect guy for the Black Panther. This guy has it all, stage presence, can do action, can do emotion, and has sex appeal!
