Poor Hawkeye, he's the only one who looks in over his head with these robots! Arrow's can only take you so far. Either way, stoked for the movie! The scenes described during comic con sound awesome
Could be... That would fill out the team nicely, but like any other comic book movie, 3 new introductions could make the pacing dicey. Can't lose faith on Whedon now though.
My first thought was how was the first movie not science fiction. I mean the whole movie was based on an alien race coming down to destroy the earth and give it to a an evil super villain from space. It seemed to me the robots in Thor and Iron Man stalled both movies. I would not go there. Additionally the robotic nature of the mask in green goblin in spiderman one was unemotional. So that's the risk. I think the arrow has proven that hawkeye can work on many levels. So his character development certainly an option. Not being a comic reader ( I am a collector now ) , my question would be, what are the avenger's avenging? I would like to see the Hulk slam some more Loki. That was a lot of fun.
I maybe a Marvel Zombie but d*mn this sounds good. Justice Dawn is looking and sounding like a cluster ***** that will be trounced by Capt America 3 Rocket River
I hope they won't spend much of the movie playing up that "we're not a team" angle. Team chemistry was pretty much resolved at the end of the first one, iirc. I'm not sure how long the time jump (if there even is one) is, but it's not like the members all forgot how well they worked together. Anyway, it's too bad that they couldn't introduce some of the characters (Witch, Silver, Vision) in previous movies. At least we know all the Avengers besides those guys - that gives more time for character developing the three newbies. And Widow and Hawkeye can fight Ultron - they just need some new tech, courtesy of Shield / Stark.
Based on the Comic Con Footage, they are all hanging out at Avengers Tower joking about the Thor's Hammer and trying to see if anybody else can pick it up. So I think they are very much a team when this movie starts. <iframe width="100%" height="450" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/160476026&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&visual=true"></iframe>

They're still filming it. They all flew together essentially to Comiccon, now they're flying back to wherever they're shooting. (London I assume since that is where Joss Whedon is bed ridden)
Too bad cast members from GotG couldn't be worked into AoU somehow. It'd be great if AoU's post-credits scene had something to do with GotG.
