They can move him around to create better matchups, that's nothing new. The best WRs aren't holding that spot just because they can blow the top off a defense. It's because they run the full route tree and can make the tough catch anywhere on the field in single coverage.
Andre Johnson doesn't get TD passes mainly because we don't throw it to him when he gets us into the red zone. So this idea of moving him to slot is a waste, I mean name any of our Slott receivers that have big touchdown numbers. Might as well just have Andre move to Tight End or Running Back as they are the main TD targets. Problem is the play calling and the delivery not where AJ is.
Dre was the 2nd best WR in football this year. IMO the travesty of his career was that he never had a QB who could hit him in stride all those times he was wide open. Hell, Schaub might get him killed in the slot the way he leads his guys right into death blows. no thanks.
Calvin Johnson has 1 more TD for the season and the Lions don't have Arian Foster who was the go-to guy to punch it in all season (the reason he led the NFL in TDs btw).
Leshoure had 9, and he's almost a sure thing goal line because of his size. I think Joique Bell made some red zone scores too.
