Everybody has a personality. On the court I see him as a team player. He makes good swing passes on the perimeter and he can draw two defenders and make great passes on the move or in the paint. As long as confidence doesn't make him a selfish player, or stops him from working hard, or leads him to bring unable to pull himself up after bad performances (ie fake confidence), I think it's all good.
I think his attitude of no fear is good for this team. To some affect he's probably inspired his teammates some.
It's nice that he's confident but he needs to be less cocky. His defense is still terrible. Afraid of him? Please...
Shush with the Kobe stuff. He is possibly the worst defensive two guard among starting two guards in the NBA this season. He isn't "carrying" anything. He has the best center in the NBA, a HOF point guard, HOF PF and Artest to cover his defensive lapses..... Take it out of the GARM.
I lukewarm on Kobe , but that's taking it over the top, he's a very very good player with a lot of value, just maybe not the same value that his scoring would indicate (which would be the best player ever.) He's not a Rudy Gay or Monta Ellis type.. now THOSE are truly overrated players.
Well I wouldn't say much of that is true. I've watched about 60% of Lakers games this year and while it is true that Kobe doesn't play much D in the first 3 quarters, the mamba has been playing very good defense down the stretch and in the 4th quarter this year. Dwight Howard is the best center in the NBA? Take it out of the GARM please.
starting to really think that the only reason DMo slipped in the draft is because he ran his mouth, and rubbed gm and scouts the wrong way. The talent is there
