With Scottie Pippen roaming around Houston once again, which Rocket player most disappointed you? Who did not live up to expectations?

Toss-up with Ralph, but mine is probably Steve Francis. It was so disheartening to watch him play during the end of his third year, when you knew that he was just never going to turn the corner. The dribble-dribble-dribble-turnover game, was the only game he would ever have.

Tough call between Pippen and Eddie Griffin.

You're nuts. Eddie Griffin was twice the disappointment that Francis was. 3 draft picks for a couple of 'development' years, then leaves for nothing. Francis at least netted us McGrady.

I remember how excited I was when I heard on 610 deilvering pizzas that we had pulled off a draft day trade for formerly associated top pick eddie griffin, I thought for sure this was a piece for a championship, and one of the greatest draft day steals, now of course... IM HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTED

I still think he will come back to us!

I think it's either Steve Harris, Dave Jamerson, or Derrick Chievous. :D

Actually it would have to be either Pippen or Griffin for me.

as much as i like him, but i gotta go with barkely, sure he was playing very well for us but he didnĀ“t push us over the top and was not worth it trading away our entire bench....

I think Dan Langhi was very disappointing after his near-dominant performance in the preseason games.

There's actually a bunch of potential candidates. Kind of sad to go through this list

    Ralph
    Joe Barely Cares
    Langhi
    SF3
    Yao?
    Cheivous
    Griffin
    Quitten
    Boki
    Cato
    Mo
    Brent Price
    Sleepy
    John Lucas
    Lew lloyd
    Mitch Wiggins
    Shandon Anderson
    Glen Rice
    Bryce Drew
    Mircad Turkan
Vernon (2nd championship year and forward)

I'm sure there's more before my time as well

Eddie Griffin. Biggest Rocket bust ever.

    Unrealistic expectations for most.

Anyway, Eddie Griffin had the talent but wasn't even average as a Rocket so it's him for me.

Griffin for me. Basically because of what we gave up to get him.

    Pippen by a landslide

    But Griffin was bad

I would put MoTay on the list

Steve- just may be the most frustrating but he made plenty of disappointing turnovers

I think Barkley is disappointing as a former Rocket - he constantly dishes the team on the TNT broadcasts

Eddie griffin...hands down. We gave up a TON to get him and got nothing but an underacheiving head case in return. The Nets ended up getting 2 starters who helped them get to the finals.

I didnt consider Mo a disappointment because I thought he sucked before he got here.

    I didn't watch Griffin play 400+ games.
