At the end of 2010 who finishes the season with the most carries for the Texans?

    Slaton?
    Tate?
    Foster?
    Henry?

I say we run the ball 500 times next year and the split looks like this....

    Foster - 200 carries
    Tate - 160 carries
    Slaton - 140 carries

    What you say?

According to Phil Jackson that's Aaron Brooks.

Are you kidding me? Yao will never be able to handle 20-30 carries again. Its why we signed Lowry. Brooks is better suited at WR IMO.

Seriously, you click the GARM, see all the Rockets related threads in it, and decide this is the best section to ask which Texan will get the most carries next season...

You honestly think Arian Foster is gonna beat out both Tate and Slaton? Those 2 will split the carries while Slaton will do the receiving out of the backfield. Foster will be situational and the clear 3rd string guy

At this point it sounds like its Foster's job to lose. I hope he's wise enough to see the opportunity that fell on his lap (slaton's off year and neck injuries; tate's hamstring injuries) and never lets up. If he holds on to the ball I don't see any reason why he doesn't continue to produce like he did late last season. If he does I believe Kubiak will keep feeding the young man the ball. Only concern is the questions about his past work ethic. Hopefully he's learned.

It all depends on if Slaton can stay healthy and if his ball security situations are handled. If not it will be Tate with Foster being a situational back.

    Slaton is done.

Whoever stays healthiest between Tate and Foster will get the lion's share.

one down, injury-plagued season and a 3rd year rb is done? I'd at least want to see him play this season before making that claim.

Done? Because of one injury plagued season? Despite the injuries, the guy was still a monster catching the ball out of the backfield last season
