I saw that quote and thought " some clown on clutchfans is going to misinterpret it".

Morey is campaigning for Harden's MVP. Everyone should get that.

In my opinion that is more caused by the primitive way in which the Rockets use Howard than for any other reason. Rockets don't exploit conveniently Dwight's strenghts. Howard is not Donatas, not Hakeem, Howard has huge shoulders very difficult to surround, he has tremendous strength and very high vertical reach. He shouldn't need to dance in the paint to get a basket like Shaq didn't need it. He never needed that in Orlando and he is now a better offensive player than then. If the Rockets used Howard onto an offensive system with 4 players open -more similar to how his Magic used him- he would gain efficiency and double teams would be more penalized. Not even that. The Rockets could run some plays for Howard (with 4 guys opening the court or with the classic positioning with 2 post guys) and that just would tremendously ease his reception deep near the basket (drop TOs), hinder all the defensive job, improve our offensive spacing and again penalize more a potencial double team. But the Rockets neither do that.

Motiejunas has shown to be a very valid post up option during this season... still the Rockets barely use him (of course run no plays for him). He's a 7 footer with unlimited moves, great touch with both hands, great basket IQ, passing abilities.... hey, that's something special, really difficult to find around the league. He has shown he can score over guys like Noah, Marc Gasol (2 defensive players of the year), bascially over anybody, but still gets no help from his own coach... I guess it is easier to ask for Goran Dragic while complaining about lack of offensive generators.

Josh Smith is another guy who can create by himself on transition. Prigioni is a guy who can create off the p&r.... Rockets have interesting weapons other than Harden, but just there is no intent to take full advantage of them.

A single tweet is NEVER thread worthy. One star.
If this was so important, it could have fit in many other threads.

Based on the preceding tweets, it sounds like he said this in the specific context of arguing for Harden as MVP. I see nothing wrong with what he said. No lies were told. Most teams who are north of "nothing" have two All-Star caliber players. Remove them both, and those teams would be nowhere.

It means different things but most of its comes negative indeed, for a GM who breached assets and trade value , he just hurts those purposes . Could ignite teamates hate etc, once again , I like Moray the less I hear him talking or socializing

This is a clown thread and OP is a clown. Wish clutch would step up and tell CH to pipe down on the trolling.

Do you really think the players don't realize we'd be mediocre without Harden?

This is why guys want to play with stars

Not really, players think they can maximize their Potentials and value by joining other superstars, to be s part of success story And get all the benefits ( rings, fame, next big contract etc, ).

With Dwight injured, without Harden, we aren't a 14/15th pick, we're closer to a 5th/6th pick pick

Threads about quotes that have OpEd titles annoy mean.

OP title is nowhere close to what the quote meant.

Comon Man! LOL! It's Rockets GM & Warriors GM touting their player for the MVP. What do you expect? Besides, CH lives under a bridge.

Morey needs to STFU. Whether you believe it or not you are the GM of the team not some fan or reporter. You can't say stuff like that.

The context of the conversation was about who is MVP and why.
