Thunder's small-ball group continues to mystify Draymond Green, Warriors

Yes, these are called "the moments when OKC actually wins the ******* game"

Why don't you just admit you are wrong?

You are a grown man, admit a mistake.

    You have made them before.

    You will make them again.

    Just admit it.

I'm telling you, until we get a legit second scoring option or a second star to pair with Harden, this team is going nowhere. Ariza and Bev are not bad players but at what cost are they coming? Four teams currently playing in the Conference Finals all have two lethal perimeter scorers on their team (WB & Durant, Curry & Klay, LeBron & Irving, DeRozan & Lowry). Not only Harden doesn't have a partner, we are trying to pair him up with the declining player at the wrong position.

The game has changed, teams don't need a dominant big man to win anymore, we need to acquire an elite perimeter player at SF of PG position who can score 20+ points at will to go along with Harden, that would make this team a true contender.

Serge Ibaka 6'10 and Steven Adams is 7 foot. Kevin Durant is 6'10, Roberson is 6'8.

Rockets don't ****ing compare to that height

That is my point, all those contrarians are arguing SMALL ball and not looking at the fact that they are actually TALLER than the Warriors.

So, I guess you can CALL it small ball, but they are still taller than the warriors, so to me that is not small ball at all.

Or ulcer-inducing. Some really dumb comments were made in this thread. It's like terrible logical fallacies, horrible deductive reasoning, knee jerk to the extreme, etc.

How tall were Michael Jordan and Bill Russell?

Wasn't Hakeem undersized for a center?

So WHY hasn't OKC's "BIG" lineup played more minutes with each other?

You were already Clutch Fan'ed slapped when the actual minutes for THIS YEARss playoffs were posted.

It's SMALLER than what the Thunder NORMALLY play = SMALL BALL.

The height is only one aspect of what is going on here. The bigger thing is quickness and spacing which is why it's small ball, especially considering it's happening with Kanter and Adams on the bench. I just don't see why you can't see that.

Barkley keeps citing the lineups Donovan used against the Spurs. Against GSW he is going small often. Kantar barely played in Game 3 and 4. Most of his minutes in Game 3 were garbage time

Apparently posters here are citing Barkley's incorrect analysis.

That shows how awesome Donovan is. Just when ppl feel they have him pegged as going big, he completely transformed his team into featuring a 3 guard small lineup

Apparently even Kerr can't keep up

Yeah 3 guards when Kevin Durant is 7 foot tall.

Steven Adams has been missing chunks of games with random injuries.

3 guards = Westbrook, Waiters, Roberson.

Which one of them are 7 feet tall?

    Yeah, I thought so.

I doubt it. Morey did not lean it in the past 10 years, how will you expect he will in the future?

Absolutely. It's not like we currently have a 7' PF or ever tried to pair Pau Gasol with Nene.
