Open your eyes you fool, Morey knows what he has, I expect another trade deadline deal, make a steal from a team wanting cap relief where you can just Add AB he will be seen as a nice piece coming back with our Exp. contracts( Shane,Jeffries) and some maybe not all Ny picks.

I see this as being the best bet, Morey sees what meshes before making more adjusments meaning trading away assets.

And if by deadline we have what we started with and is just Rockin and Rollin (RR), and NY is struggling? Amare could go down.

I would look to bring young talent in through draft if NY is sucking and our current roster is RR by deadline and no real good trade is there.

    But I'm just Brainstorming ...

Guess that's what the offseason does to Baskeball fan, makes some people illiterate apparently.

just say no to mello!,the bar sipping, non leader, cheap shot artist, the guy is as inefficient as they come, for all the clowns who constantly put down AB for his 20 points on 16 shots, ya'll got a lot of nerve clamoring for Anthony to join the team

Its not about the best fit. Its about a well rounded group who can go really far and win it all.
If our best fit group cant win it then we have to go back to acquire an allstar, maybe star.
Well a good oiled machine plus 2 stars is not bad either.

In Morey we trust. He will do the right thing. We stockpiled this talent for this kind of trade.

The task at hand is to bail us out in situations when the team concept and effort do fail and when defense is tightening up on us, i.e. in crunch time situations.

Well you know "crunch time" scoring or whatever isn't just limited to people making max money. Coming into the past season nobody gave us much of a chance without Yao and Tmac, the two stars of this team in everyone's eyes. Barkley also called us the worst team in the west because we didn't have any stars.

But look what happened, we broke even and beat teams with "stars" such as the Grizz, Raptors, Pacers etc. Those teams DID have that crunch time scorer when defense tightened up on them and yet they had a worse record than a team without any stars and 70M capspace on the shelf. IMHO fit and chemistry is something that most people overlook but its extremely important. Just look at how Jordan Hill transformed from Tmac trade filler to legit lottery pick in a span of one season.

Absolutely. Poaching Carmelo from Denver is exactly the type of scenario Morey has been building towards since him became GM.

    Get er done!

Which one are you using PER? Because there are others that are not so kind to him.

All of those things are pure illusion.

The guy is averaging 28 pts. on 46% shooting.

I don't think there is any stats that you can pull out to say Melo is very inefficient.

He's about as efficient as Aaron Brooks. Actually for his career, he is MORE efficient than Aaron Brooks. And actually, Kobe Bryant's TS% isn't much higher.

It's not that Melo is inefficient, he's just not highly efficient like Kevin Martin.

Yeah I don't mean he's the most efficient player in the NBA. I'm just saying I think it's a joke to say he's just flatout inefficient.

Morey doesn't care if you have questionable attitude, as long as you contribute, it don't matter!

    DD should read this interview.

LOL at not pursuing Anthony just because he had a few run ins with the law.
