It means going to an even more extreme approach. It isn't necessarily a good thing.

I wish that Alexander would just let Morey use the draft like other teams do.

I'll freely admit that we overachieved this season.... but we're talking about what we need to beat GSW... and we didnt even have the mental fortitude to beat an aging Spurs team that was without 2 starters....

Bring back Dwight Howard. I heard he's been working on his threes.

The harm is Harden will hate it. He was asked to guard LMA and Gasol and it fore him down so you can kiss that plan goodbye.

Plus you aren't going to beat the warriors by getting guys with less talent to play like the warriors, you're only going to get your ass beat by the Spurs.

because him guarding perimeter guys is any better? he at least is in a better situation defensively guarding guys like that bc he obviously doesn't do well guarding guys on the outside. it's pretty bad how much people want to cater to this guy and what he does want and doesn't.

Les and the natural time frame/window of Harden's sweet spot won't allow it.

Could be a radical tactical philosophy, like press all the time or always double no matter what.

Could be a headcase like Boogie.

    Very broad, this risk profile.

The league adjusts. Nothing lasts forever.

I think that Golden Stats deserves to be the heavy favorites, but it is going to "break". There are nearly 30 other teams making moves to catch the Warriors. Players get hurt, the rules change and new talent comes and goes.

    100%

People act like the NBA is just going to give up and concede. Teams will be trying to poach every FA GSW has. Teams will be trying big moves. Players get hurt. Players drop off in quality.

What is Morey supposed to say? It's his job to make his team better than theirs.

The Warriors system didn't win them a Championship this season.

    HAVING 4 ALL-STARS and TWO MVP's DID.

They could play the freaking triangle, square, pick and strip offense and still get to the finals.

Where in my post did I infer that I had no confidence in Harden to begin the season? Did you think the Rockets as assembled would have the 3rd best record in the league at the start of the season?

yeah actually I did but only if Anderson and Gordon played like the players everyone thought they could be 2 years ago.

That happened for the first half of the season and then it all went to ****.

    Rockets-"The Warriors aren't that unbeatable."

Man, we continue to have a bravado that is just not equivalent to the results we've put forth. I wish these guys would shut their yappers and just play.

I agree with you to a point, but a Popovich coached Spurs team is much better than you may think. The Rockets defense needs to get dramatically better period and Harden needs a 2nd big offensive piece next to him so he doesn't have to carry the team on his back. I'm just as pissed off by Hardens game 6 performance as anyone, but lets see what Morey has up his sleeve going forward.

This PG to cavs is gonna be similar to the Cp3 to lakers deal

    It's gonna be

    George to Cavs
    Love to PHX
Bledsoe, bender 4 pick and 2018 pick and cavs 2017 pick and 2019 pick to Indy

The best rockets can give is Clint and Ryan and 2 1st for love in that 3 way
