    I thought Billups played PG?
You don't think he would start here?

I would not mind making a run at Rip Hamilton either

Please say no to Nene for this team. He is an above average center who is great on offense, but limited on defense. He does not rebound the ball well for his size and does not block shots. This is definitely not a person that we need. We should be going after McGee or Kaman and that's it. McGee at 22 or 23 years old is a no brainer. Kaman and Nene both have injury histories, but Kaman is the better rebounder and shot blocker. However, both are average one on one defenders. Kaman fits this team better, especially defensively, even though Nene is the better offensive player (although it is debatable).

Really don't need that much from the 5 spot.
    Mainly Defense.

That added 15 ppg., average would definitely help.

Your crazy if you dont think we wouldnt need a player like Nene even if we did get a Superstar. A guy like Nene at the big is perfect for a Superstar if we bring one here. Id do that Nene deal in a heart beat. Whats one inch away from a 7 footer worth? Nene was killing us last time.

Nice. However, even with his low basketball IQ, he would still be very effective for us. I'd say he can alter/block at least 15 shots per game and make 3-4 mistakes which is a plus major plus.

Nene is really not what we need though. He provides offense at the 5 spot...a low post scorer much like scola. He does not provide any type of shot altering/blocking abilities and his rebounding numbers have always been horrible for someone his size and skill level.

    LOL.

    I'd gladly take him though.
