Im as huge a harden fan as anyone. Hes my favorite player ever and i would pick him but cmon...

Thats just disrespectful to curry. You dont think he has an argument behind him and it is debatable whos better?

They are both great players obviously

Nope. I don't think Curry can carry a team the way Harden can. IMO put Curry on Houston the past few years and they aren't nearly as good.

that type of logic doesn't work. You could make huge cases for Iverson...he carried a team to the finals therefore he is better than both of them.

    How close to the Warriors?

Chris: I don't know. We're not close enough, to tell you the truth. Until someone beats them, it's who everyone is chasing. We have a lot of work to do.

Once we get Melo, it'll be a Baby Gap.

You put Harden in Warriors with curry's teammates and coaches, they will be a good playoff team, but won't win championship.

Or you could say... imagine what would happen if Curry was the PG in a Mike D'Antoni offense.

To close the gap to a striking distance, we needed to get CP3, PG, and Melo. That would have allowed us to match up defensively with the Warriors.

Since we missed out of PG, even after getting Melo, we will be behind the Warriors. Competitive but still out in 5 in a 7 game series.

    Ahh finally, we disagree...

I absolutely don't think it is close as to who's the better talent.

We def have a chance with Melo, Harden, and CP3.

We will get Affalo, Henderson, and Diaw to round out the roster. Its lit.

hey maybe even Monta Ellis as the back up PG with Gordon playing the 2.

Say it aint so! It was bound to happen one day haha.

Harden is my favorite player ever. I am a true rockets fan but also a player fan of harden. Id root for him even if he got traded (unless he's playing the rockets of course.)

If I was a GM, I would pick harden to build around due to his ability to run an entire offense and his durability. Ill bet Harden lasts longer at an elite level than Curry. Also he's ten times the passer curry is.

Harden can run and create an offense and curry can add another dimension to an already good offense. Part of the argument depends how you value those two different skill sets IMO.

I just think that they are both superstars and it is a very fair debate to argue who's better. They can both light it up pretty insanely when they are on.

I wouldnt fault anyone for choosing either guy.

I take back what I said, Morey didn't mean it at all like this. He just said the usual PR positive thing you expect, that he feels they've closed the gap and is confident this group of 8 guys can compete with anybody and he's right. I just looked at highlights of Tucker and while he knew he was a good defender, he's strong as an ox, fights for every rebound and is a great passer actually. I'm very excited and then we have CP3, Nene back..oh boy, couldn't be more excited!! Really hope Melo is worth this drama and accept a lesser role like on the olympic team. If we get that version of him, watch out though I still prefer a proper big at the 4 who hangs his hat on defense more.
