Morey produces one of the best offensive rated team ever assembled, the second winningest team x years and people just **** on him all the time...people forget just how bad we were in the 2000s and his work brought us to where we are today. We would have 3 more banners if it wasn't for the greatest team to ever be assembled.
Yet you believe Morey and Harden can do NO wrong. LMAO Morey has really not done much past two seasons but continue making excuses
Vegas stinks. The real people to look at are all the statistical model guys who make stats like PIPM, PTPM, RPM, PI RAPM, etc. Those types of models are why guys can play daily fantasy sports and literally farm money out of it making millions every year predicting boxscores and whatnot.
I blame morey for everything. He got lucky OKC decided to trade the wrong guy away and he had the best offer so harden fell to his lap. After that he stopped working and basically depended on harden to be 3 supertars in 1. Morey gave 34 yr old injury prone cp3 4 yr max Morey hired MDA who is totally dependent on Harden as well What else...
You know what? I kinda agree. Morey and his team did a great job pre Harden accumulating assets but ever since Harden came there hasnt been a major piece who came from his moves. EG signing was amazing but Scrubberson deal was horrible and another team got more assets than us for his corpse so that cancels out. Capela was a nice pick from the draft but he was garbage last year so I guess that's a wait and see, freaking Kevon Looney making 5M outplayed him in the playoffs. Rivers, Faried, Cp3 signing only happened because of Harden, even if the GM was Danny Ferry those happen anyway. OTH we keep retaining scrubs who dont contribute, Choizza, Gary Clark, Edwards...all these are total scrubs while other teams have found contributors like Mitchell Robinson, Treer and Fred Van Vleet in the 2nd round or undrafted prospects. So all in all, Capela and House were the only 2 productive guys Morey brought in to help Harden which panned out. That's not great by any means lol. With all that said though, I still trust Morey. The Harden trade really is all you need to cement your legacy as a great GM.
