    Mr. Morey and Mr. Alexander took a lot of heat from many on this forum for a few years for refusing to tank. The argument was made that you could never get good without going through the draft. Yet, Morey had a plan. He believed he could turn "assets" into "better assets" in a never ending game of musical chairs until he landed his stars.

    Now, going into the 2013-2014 season, Morey can stand with his fists on his hips. He has gotten Harden and Howard in back to back offseasons to turn this from a team with no future to a team that is a legitimate championship contender.

    So, here's to you Daryl Morey. You've done one hell of a job.

    Harden, then Howard. Back-to-back. Complete vindication for Daryl. I've always supported him, he got a tough hand dealt to him -- building around 2 max contract players with injuries -- and he worked absolute miracles. Top 3 GM, no doubt about it.
