$100 on who is the higher playoff seed. I bet a friend that the Rockets would finish ahead of the Nuggets for $100

    He was trollin' Cuban.

I would have done the same.

And when Cuban would say "NO" to Dirk, I would have said, "Its ok. Didnt want him anyways."

Yeah, I live about an hour north of Dallas... and listening to all the BS Cuban's been spewing as well as reading the crap the local writers have been writing about (i.e. Mavs being better off, Dwight making a bad choice, them raving about Monta friggin' Ellis may prove to be the better off season acquisitionm, etc) makes the loss the other night even worse.

Having beaten them once already and destroying them through three quarters the way we were, it was feeling awful good - although I was never comfortable.

It was kinda' like when Moon threw the TD to put the Oilers up 28-3 in "the comeback game"... I knew they'd need that score.

When Lin missed that three at the end of the third quarter I actually said to myself - we needed that....smh...

Calling it bull. Not believing it. Only way possible for such a trade would be Harden + Lin or Asik just to match the contract. And if Morey sent such a offer over, you think cuban would not take it? Especially when they still have loads of cap space to fill up the team.

Even Lin + Asik cannot match the contract.

Nowitzki would be great alongside Yao. But with dwight? Meh.....

I definitely think Morey was sticking him a bit.

But, knowing we were feeling out teams on Lin and Asik, that'd be almost 17M right there.

MacMahon is usually pretty straight up with his stuff. He likely wouldn't tweet it unless he had a legit source (cue the Broussard pics...lol)

Definitely "possible"... but again, I believe Morey DID text him, but who knows if he was 100% serious or just taking a jab at Cuban.

Dirk is a great player, taunt or not, Morey has every reason to ask about him. Contract-wise Lin and Asik would have to be included. Or Harden.

I probably wouldn't trade Harden for Dirk, but it's only because of age. Dirk is by far the better player.

That said, I absolutely hate Dirk as a basketball player and I'm glad I'll never root for him.

Well , he could always target him as a FA in the offseason .... Dirk is a free agent after this season.

I don't any scenario where Cuban trades Dirk to Houston .... No way he helps a division foe and after failing to sign Howard .... nope , just aint happening.

I don't think Dirk will leave Dallas, particularly not for Houston.

I think the point is that Morey knew what the answer would be before he even turned on his cell phone. NO WAY Cuban does that deal with Houston, especially after landing Howard.

Your not implying otherwise are you?

Can't blame Morey for thinking Cuban was a smart forward thinking guy. Guess he was wrong
