To be honest, Capella actually did a better job on him then our other bigs when they switched. His hands were always in his face and he brought hustle/energy. There was a few times he poked the ball away from Curry since he has a long wingspan. Capella just needs to time his jump better when Curry shoots but it's hard to learn this on the job now especially when Curry is like no other shooter Capella has faced before.
We need to sacrifice Prig's offense for more of NJ's defense. Whoever is playing Curry can't help or sag. Also his step back can be defended if the defender is in the proper stance and anticipates the move. Basketball requires a lot of decisions. Players can't just show up without mental preparation. It takes 48 minutes of focus to beat a team playing their A game. We're barely hanging in there with our B- game.
Well we know Nick can't shoot (Jason Terry) and he doesn't have court vision or passing abilities (Prigiani) so I guess it gets down to whether he can defend enough to make up for the offense suffering when he is out there. I would tend to think not. However, putting him in might wear Curry down a bit if possible. Franky I don't see Nick Johnson, but maybe he is a couple of years a way from being a year away and will like DMo who I admit I gave up on a year or two before he started to turn it around.
McHale living and dying with jet. Right now more dying than living. Warriors entire offense ignited by going at jet.
