I have been watching the rockets the last couple of years. And i see that moochie is not what we need for a backup point gaurd. He does not play any defense at all.He does to much dribbling and not enough passing. I just wish our gaurds would pass the ball more and less dribbling.and sit moochie down in the fourth quarters.

I think when they dribble a lot, that's the called play, ISO. They're supposed to create off the dribble. Not my fave. All the opposing teams talk about it in the interviews AFAIK. Otherwise it's the stupidest set play I've ever seen. Sometimes they pass it around a lot to little effect since no one is moving or setting picks and screens. Cato had a good one tonight versus Boston. We seem to be very poor at moving without the ball.

It would appear Rudy is not sold on Mooch as he is getting fewer and fewer minutes.

And Mooch is invisible with the game on the line.

Thats generally a true statement, this year, for all teams..zone defenses make it very hard to get the ball to the basket and equally hard to pass in to the big men.

But 50 points and 15 assists by Cat and Seve is hard to argue against. From the opposing teams point of view things must look a little different....Heres what they had to say on the New England Sports Report tonight:...... High picks, slashing to the basket, moving the ball...couldnt help but think.....wish we (Boston) could play that way.
THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE HOUSTON ROCKETS OFFENSE..

Moochie is making too much and doing too little. He doesn't deserve the minutes, and the few minutes he's playing, he's not playing well.

It's time to trade him, IF we find any takers. I'd like to get Kenny Anderson or Charlie Ward since they're experienced and have expiring contracts. Maybe MoT and Moochie for Kenny Anderson? It works cap-wise, but SCREWS Seattle in the financial department.
