In the Rockets deal, Thomas is sending back $8 million in future salaries and getting back $18 million in return.

Hope to god it's a FUTURE first after all this talk of not wanting to trade it. Hell, I would rather have PJ Brown. But, this is a cost cutting move obviously.

Seems ridiculous! But here is the kicker. BOTH Baker's AND Norris' contracts END at the end of NEXT season. That means they will be expiring at the SAME TIME as Wesley and Spoon.

This move was a salary dump so we could get out of Taylor's contract a year SOONER.

They also were able to dump $10 million in salary via MoTa's contract versus Vin and Mooch...

Van Gundy on his morning show really harped on wanting to be able to create cap flexibility and it looks like this deal does that for the Rockets.

Why a first round pick! How many do we have to give away FOR NOTHING!! At least trade for Kurt Thomas, not these two clowns.......

Why we couldn't get Nazr Mohammed? Since Thomas was willing to deal him?

Mo T for Mohammed, it will be a decent deal. But Mo T and first round pick for Vin Baker and Moochie???

I take back the credit I just gave to CD.
