It is my opinion that it is. In fact. Because I like the Houston Astros color scheme and not the Miami Dolphins.
We’re all good, Gen. Turgidson. I replied before you added, but no offense was given or taken. I knew when I posted someone would disagree. I’m just glad it was you. We’ll settle our disagreements in the War Room.
I was born December 27, 1974. So give me a few months and I'll go fisticuffs in the Spring. I am a man, though, don't forget that...
http://news.sportslogos.net/2019/08/06/black-and-white-uniforms-across-mlb-for-players-weekend-2019/ Major League Baseball’s most colourful event of the year will be a little less so in 2019. This afternoon the Players’ Weekend uniforms for 2019 were unveiled by both the league and the Major League Baseball Players Association, the uniforms, head-to-toe, are either monochromatic black or monochromatic white — with the home team for each game getting first choice of black or white, their opponent getting the opposite. The black jerseys will have each team’s wordmark in black trimmed in silver, the white jerseys the same. Pitchers on Team White will be wearing a black cap with their uniform to avoid any issues with hitters seeing the ball. They will be the only position player on either side to wear a different cap from the rest of the team. Batters will wear a matte-black or matte-white helmet, no team logo on the front. Therefore, every game across the league will see the same helmets being used. The 2019 Players’ Weekend promotion will run from August 23 through August 25th, the all-black and all-white uniforms will be worn for all games played during those dates.
Has Astros pick what color yet? Would love to have a black jersey. Never mind. MLB shop only selling white Astros jerseys. Disappointed for sure.
I'm not sure how you recapture the essence of little league at the major league level, but this I don't think is it for the fans, or the players. What they need to tap into is recapturing that experience somehow and let the fans live in it virtually. But there's almost no way to do that. Think interviewing their little league teammates and neighborhood friends, and coaches might be interesting and surprising them with that video during the game might be a lot more interesting for everyone. Then you add that video to the HOF experience later on. Do like the jersey's though.
