Almost seems to go hand in hand. Barry Bonds, Ty Cobb, Pete Rose, Roger Clemens, and Ted Williams were all pretty big dicks. I'm sure many more were, though Cobb is the only one I think I'd ever dislike more than ARod.
Fittingly the day my least favorite player retired, my favorite non-Astro reached 3000 hits. <iframe src='http://m.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embed.html?content_id=1024068183&topic_id=70087564&width=400&height=224&property=mlb' width='400' height='224' frameborder='0'>Your browser does not support iframes.</iframe>

Strasburg left his start last night with an elbow injury. You won't know until the MRI, but it doesn't sound encouraging. Might be headed for another TJS. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...washington-nationals-exits-start-third-inning Good thing he signed that rare Scott Boras client extension.
That's pretty big if he does miss the rest of the season. Not saying the Nats would be out of it, but that's a huge blow to their postseason chances of winning the pennant.
Will make it all the more sad the year they shut him down. Finally getting back (after basically just assuming they'd get there every year) and now they won't have him again. Astros are currently dealing with a similar issue with McCullers. It is a big blow to lose a very good pitcher.
