Lazy lazy loss, sucks. No effort from the start, double teaming every player with the ball, I mean do we not know how to play man defense??
People need to recognize that the Wolves are a good team and not your typical 8th seed No Butler injury and they would have been probably a 3rd seed Rocket River
The thing that is getting overlooked is that Jeff Teague (!!!) has outplayed Chris Paul in 2 out of the 3 games. That is absolutley unacceptable
no one expected a sweep, but nobody expected a supposedly hungry team that's preached all year how serious they are at winning a championship come out so lazy in a playoff game, headed by 2 players that have been label playoff chokers coming into the year. it's one thing if it was a close hard fought game front to back and they just executed better in the 4th and got the win. but to come out so entitled and spoiled like they've won something before is something that a lot of fans are not going to accept easily. it's the playoffs now. leave that lazy going through the motions **** in the regular season where it belongs.
I’m not writing it off. This feels like one of those up 2-0 JVG teams, specifically, the Utah series where Utah was very underwhelming the first two games and kirilenko was pundwrperforming just like towns and even. Cried after game 2 and then Utah woke up in game three and we know the ending of that series:

The loss itself is not the issue. It’s the way the team played/has been playing. It’s one thing to lose after you play well and the other team was just better that night. It’s another thing when your spotty play has finally caught up with you and one or two people didn’t go super Saiyan and save your ass. People keep talking about not expecting a sweep. So what? What I did expect was the team to play better than they have been. Hopefully they pick it up this series and moving forward because these types of efforts are what is disconcerting.

Not too worried. Eventually our 3’s have to go in right? That was the difference in the 3rd quarter. We came out ice cold and the Wolves just piled on. If we go back to Houston 2-2 I could see this series going 7. If Gordon, Ariza, and Tucker shoot their averages for the rest of the series this will be over in 5. It sucks that they’ve all gone cold at the same time.
This. I'm not worried we will lose this series. But a 65-win team should not struggle like this. We played only one good game out of three. We look like Toronto in the past years. Good in regular season but struggled in the playoffs. Hope Gordon and CP get it together soon.
Damn straight I expected a sweep. There is no good reason why the wolves were close in game 1 and even won a game. We're the number 1 team in the NBA. They are a team that just fought the last game of the regular season to get in the playoffs. We either start playing like champs and take care of business early or we're looking at a long off season that starts in a couple weeks. We need that sense of urgency we had at the beginning and I hope tonights loss just set a freaking nuclear bomb in their @sses.
That's the big question and why I'm alarmed. They just don't look like a 65 win team, they look like they have no chemistry and are waiting to win the game instead of playing to win, like because they are first seed there's some automatic go to WCF's button.
It's not the people, the Wolves have disappointed in regular season. Simple as dat. You have to imagine that their playoff chances depended on the last regular season game, which they could have lost. Of course they have enough potential and the West is tough blah blah.....
