How has this ingenious plan of surrounding Kevin Love with marginally talented, conspicuously Caucasian players backfired!?!!? How could it have gone so wrong so fast.
Kevin Love Unsure about Wolves' Future Interesting article about Love's feelings about the Timberwolves. Looks like Love is unhappy in Minnesota by not being the Designated Star on his team and not getting the max. He also has issues with the way management has built the team and would prefer smart, savvy franchise building. This guy is obviously a piece that would work very well with the Rockets. Anyone think we have a shot at getting him in a couple of years? http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--k...ure-about-timberwolves--future-200009299.html
It's his own fault for locking himself in a lowball contract. If I were the Wolves I would've done the same thing... Morey would give up good players and the max for this guy, but he'll never get traded... Fun to think about I guess...
While the order and discipline he instilled on Ceti Alpha V was praiseworthy, his ability to assess talent has left much to be desired.
99% certain Westbrook has a 5 year deal. THe "Westbrook sacrifice" was not having the option on the final year of his contract and he could have signed a larger contract if he waited for the offseason (Based off allstar/all-nba teams, which at the time was not certain since he was struggling - just like the beginning of this year).
It has begun. And now we play the waiting game... get it done, Morey. I'd say T.Jones, Morris, Patterson, Aldrich, some future 1st round picks is fair, no?
no where enough, to trade for a player of that caliber you need to give a player of that caliber, or more than 1 starter.
