No genius I can't read any of it besides what looks like a map of a night of protesting and who was where. I'm assuming the demands section has people clamoring for segregation but I can't read it. It's too small and clicking on it takes to an upload page. If that is the case, I don't take them anymore serious than I take you.
Christopher Columbus was a total complete piece of **** human being, so if that's what people want to do, then go for it.
Am I supposed to be outraged at this but be all warm and fuzzy about systemic racism/sexism? it isn’t a priceless piece of art and it is someone that was a nasty person.
Letting the mob (rather than say, elected representatives) control our public monuments is unwise. Besides, this is largely just indiscriminate destruction of anything historical and beautiful.
Unpopular opinion here, but i think the folks that vandalize the statues should be arrested. Hell, I broke a small shed window when I was 17 and got arrested.
The "mob" that pulled down that statue was mostly Native Americans. I've been very critical of the destruction and damage from these protest but I'm not going to criticize too much Native Americans taking down a statue of the man who was directly and indirectly responsible for wiping out more than 90% of them.
