Considering that the mom is certified beauty, he'll be fighting off the ladies with his movie star looks. Congrats. Gig'em.
But she would've lost him for 3 hours on both Sunday and Wednesday night as he was nowhere to be found!
Congrats! My baby girl just turned one last week. It just gets better and better everyday. They really are a blessing.
Isn't it though? I wasn't ever fully sure I wanted kids until the second I heard her heartbeat. There are obvious challenges, but it is truly just an amazing experience. Plus, I taught my girl that a chicken goes "coo coo ca cha, coo coo ca cha" ala George Bluth, so I've won this parenting thing already. And in December of 2014, our family will be complete.
Thanks y'all! I'm in love with this lil man. He's already a ladies man. Nothing ever will prepare you on being a parent. Hahahahaha. or name him James.
Thanks, we're very excited! Yup, just two for us. Maybe if we were younger, we'd try for another, especially if this one is a girl too. But we're in our late 30s, so once he (i've been calling it a he) comes out healthy and awesome, I'm going to do what I have to do to ensure there are no more. Considering the first one took two months and this one took a month after my wife stopped taking the pill, that's probably the best course of action. My guys can swim!
Congrats! My boys are 2 1/2 now. Hard to believe. I think they are both going to be MMA fighters, as often as they pick at each other and take each other down... When I didn't have kids, I was always annoyed when a parent would say something like "you don't know what love is until you have a kid." As annoying as it was back then, now I realize how true it is. Given the horrible thing that happened to us back in 09, we don't take a SINGLE SECOND with them for granted. I literally LIVE for the time I spend with them and look forward to it all day long.
So happy for y'all, man! I was thinking about you last week before we found out there was only one. Twins run on both sides of our family and they say the older you are, the more likely you could have them. On her first blood test at 5 weeks, they saw what could be a second sac, but couldn't confirm. We spent about 10 days wondering if there was one or two. Not sure we could've handled two with a three-year-old running around, so we were relieved. I would've been reaching out for advice had there been a second!
Thank, man. And congrats to you as well. I didn't see your post until after I submitted mine. Two is really a great number. I wouldn't want to have an only-child and 3 is too many. My boss had 2 small children...then found out they were pregnant with triplets! Now he has 5 boys - all under the age of 7. So yeah...I don't get much sympathy from him...
Ahhhh, just wait until you have grand kids. They are much better because you can always send them home. Congratulations to all the expecting parents and parents with new kids.
