If you would have told me at the conclusion of this season we would possibly come away with Jeremy Lamb, Perry Jones, and Arnett Moultrie potentially I woulda slapped you silly and called you crazy.

I know we're not coming away with 3 rookies this draft but if we ever did keep those picks that would be a hell of a hall.

Honestly, I'd be happy with that draft. No Meyers or Drummond, but these three guys have tons of upside.

Morey seriously needs to stop chasing Dwight, and go on a youth movement. Lamb and Perry could both be very very special players.

These are great players, but i would rather have Dwight and maybe Josh Smith

They might or not be great players. I would think three picks in the top twenty would get us at least one really nice player. After all, isn't it Morey's specialty to find diamonds in the rough? But at least our rookies would be happy to be here, unlike Dwight.

Or we can continue to chase dwight, and flip him for Bynum and some future pick(s). Bynum's more likely to resign here and he's the 2nd best center in the league (which is kinda sad). That way you can have a young core of Dragic, Parsons, Dmo and Bynum to build around.

i would definitely be more than satisfied with those 3 picks. Much better than renting Howard for year or maybe half a season. And plus I am sure he will not give it his 110% if he does come here, considering his injuries and his total dislike of this city. The guy is too much drama

Do you want 75% of Dwight? He's got to put forth some effort, or does he still get a max deal even if he channels his inner Erick Dampier all season long?

For us to not have to tank to get good draft picks like this is awesome (especially if we move even further up), to trade them for a guy halfway through his career who doesn't want to play here is stupid!

If we ended up actually using those three picks for ourselves (we won't), I'd be happy with those players.

If the Rockets keep 14 & 16 and take Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones III, just shoot me and end the misery.

IMO, Howard would give his best effort during his season as a Rocket -- at least when he was actually on the floor. He would be playing for a new contract, so he would want to play well while protecting his back (pun halfway intentional).

On the other hand, we have enough role players, although trading Bud cost us 10 to 30 points per game. We need to find a way to draft a center for the future (Drummond or at least Leonard) and a backup PF like Arnett Moultrie or a SG like Lamb or a backup PG like Teague. Any one of those combinations, as long as we get a true center, gives us a shot at being better than mediocre if not a true contender.

If we could part with Bud, we should part with Morris and even 2Pat (Moultrie would be far superior).

Howard would get a max contract even if he played terrible and didn't give a damn.

Unless he had more back problems.

Even still, I think NJ would get so desperate, they'd still do it.

And Thabeet can still be the next Mutombo.

Just keep saying it and you might actually start to believe it.
