I'd be good with this outcome. I'd prefer two kids with star potential for the Rockets over safe picks like Patterson or Morris.
Jeremy Lamb has star written all over him, he just needs to increase his desire and drive and gain a few more pounds of muscle. He's SO young, too (turned 20 a few weeks ago). He can be the Rockets solution to letting Lee walk in FA while maintaining Martin's trade-ability come February. I don't like the Jones pick, I feel like he will be a mavs-era Lamar Odom. Personally, I wouldn't mind grabbing Ross or Moultrie at the 16, if we keep that pick (which I highly doubt). If we're able to get Lamb, Ross can give him a run for his money on who will be the SG of the future (which could help to increase Lamb's drive). Moultrie, on the other hand, can be a serviceable starting center for years to come, given his mobility, leaping ability and strength rebounding.

Wish we could blow up the team and trade our big contracted players for draft picks. This team, as it currently stands, is going nowhere fast. Definitely wouldn't mind trading Lowry/Scola/Martin to free up some space for Dragic/Lee and let us actually rebuild with good draft picks. We don't seem to suck so bad picking up players in the draft but when you have an owner who wants to win without losing, you have a GM that publicly treats his players as assets. Who wants to play for a team like that? Sorry guys, seriously doubt Dwight or Deron would sign with us even if we could pay the max for them.
