Mike Tyson is a hard ass dude. How does the host not know that? Does he not watch tv, read? Or even do some research?? Do research, learn how to conduct interviews and not embarrass yourself on live television. It's that simple. Especially interviewing freaking Mike Tyson!!! Who is known to punch people in the face for a living!!!
That TV dude looks, acts and sounds like a total D bag. I'm not the biggest Tyson fan and he has his share of demons but I would have going off on that TV guy until he cried uncle. Mike is pretty tame nowadays, he's trying to earn a living and supporting his family.
How is that "losing it"? Hard to react more calm to someone calling you a rapist on live tv, you should applaude Tyson for his reaction.
He was also appearing as a guest on the show, so the polite way to ask that same question might be "With the problems you've dealt with in the past..." or "Based on your personal history...". Bruce Bowen is an ass. This is nothing new. He was known for it in the NBA, and he's known for it as a talking head. I don't like Tyson, but I can't blame him one bit for losing his cool under these circumstances. That is NOT how you treat guests on a TV show.
What an idiot. This is the only way I imagined this question being brought up. "hey lets have the guy ask Mike a question about his rape conviction that many people still think was undeserved and way too similar to the Kobe rape? think he will not be pissed about that?" "haha oh yeah sure. how should we have the host end the show though?" "how about 'go ***** yourself, San Diego?"
yeah, that was a d*ck move to ask that question.. considering the mayor has already done enough on his own to jeopardize his chances of getting re-elected.. but that was fun to watch.. dude was probably *****tin bricks :grin:
