Good for him! There's that Houston-China connection again, and at least he already got an orientation to what China is like. Will that be in the same league as the Shanghai Sharks?

Actually Mike played for the team last season. He promised the team that if he cannot get to play in an NBA team, ZheJiang will be the next team he would play.

 

He could easily make more on a chinese shoe deal than a NBDL contract.

First Harris, now Johnson. Both are good guys , so great news. Good luck to both of them.

 

Wish he'd land with an NBA squad. He's honestly good enough to stick to a roster and contribute.

 

Sadly, it seems most coaches and GMs just see him as tweener that lacks height. He is like Chuck Hayes but with more of an offensive game then Hayes' sick defense, but in a world where small forwards are prone to play more like guards and power forwards and centers are meant to big big guys with height, he is left on the outside looking in, having the skills of PF but the body type similar to a SF.

I hope he has tons of success in China, he deserves it and will make more money then just being fringe player over here.
