What do you guys think about him? What about trading bobby jax and steve francis w/ 1st round pick for Mike? Or if that is a pretty bad deal for them, we can do Battier and Hayes for Mike? Give me your thoughts.

Dunleavy's value is higher than his actual worth at this point IMO.
And no way would I trade 2 of the top 25 defenders in the NBA for someone who had 1 good season on a horrible team in a horrible conference.

I'd love to add Dunleavy to McGrady/Battier.

Agreed. Indiana would love to cash in when his value is deceptively high like this. Dunleavy is a solid bench player on a really good team, not a starter. Especially out West. Was GS even mildly competitive whenever he was a fixture in their starting line ups?

He's actually turned into a quality player and found his way now, but like i said, when teams turn up the heat and play past the whistle, do u trust him to respond and turn up his level?

Wouldn't mind adding him to the mix at all. He's a good shooter, good passer, and very unselfish.

He might be able to be had without losing Yao, TMac, Scola, or Battier.

Would anyone sign and trade Landry for him?

I would rather have preferred Stephen Jackson despite his antics.Dunleavy has improved a lot but he is no Thugleavy when it comes to playing tough.

Those are some pretty random trades.

If only there were a thread for that sort of thing...

If you got Dunleavy you would have to give up Battier, there would be no need for Tmac, Battier and Dunleavy, not enough minutes.....UNLESS you move Tmac to the point.

Thugleavy is much tougher than Jackson. Thugleavy has a strong chin and will endure physical pain to win games.

Jackson, on the other hand, needs to use a gun when he fights with midgets.

Dunleavy has never had one season at any level where he was better than Battier, and you want to toss in Chuck Hayes, too.

btw: why didn't you put this absolutely horrible trade idea in the Random Trade Thread. What? You're schpecial?

Funny, because I hate the "thug" types but I would love Stephen Jackson on this roster.

Stephen Jackson is stronger, tougher, and even more athletic than Dunleavy at the age of 35.I have seen him play strong defense against Nowitzki and he showed great leadership against Dallas to knock them out of the playoffs.

I know GS is more talented and should have made it to the playoffs as compared to an injured Pacers team, but S.Jackson doesn't need a gun to play on the court.Dunleavy has more range on his shot and passes better than Jackson, but Stephen J. can control tempo when things are getting out of hand.He is more experienced now and always has been a big hearted player even when he was at his worst. Battier and Hayes for Dunleavy would weaken our defense a lot.
