Even though he's had a few ill-timed penalties of late, he'll be missed. Hopefully Caldwell is able to step in without missing a beat - they basically split the snaps in 2010 before it seemed Brisiel got the full-time gig in 2011.

Brisiel has been pissin me me off the last few weeks with his penalties, but I hope he recovers because we will definitely need him for the playoffs. I think we should be fine with Caldwell though.

One of the strengths of our OL has been their durability, I can't remember the last time any of them missed any extended time. Antoine Caldwell, you're the next man up! Hopefully, Caldwell can develop some kind of rapport with the other 4 starters.

The running game has been a little off since the Bye week.

Speaking of penalties, was it just me, or did it look like Winston was having to get an early jump off the line when the Texans were in their 2-minute offense at the end of the Bengals game? I wonder if he's a little antsy after having speed rushers get the edge on him this year (specifically, Cameron Wake and John Abraham)?

I actually wouldn;t mind Briesel taking some time off, he is the weak link in the line

    Next man up.

Seriously, our o-line was the one area that hasn't been touched by injury all season. Sucks that it happened but at least we've already clinched the division.

He's been Mr. false-start lately. Hopefully Caldwell can come in and be adequate.

I noticed it also.. on a couple of plays actually he was a split of a second early.. I was waiting for the penalty to be called.. luckily the refs didn't catch it.

Feels like the injury bug came and laid eggs in the Texans locker room.

Welcome, little friends. I see you want to come along for the ride too.

    Next man up.

    Well, I think that.....

Wait a minute, he played with a broken leg?

For comparisons sake, here's a picture of me when I had the same injury a few years ago:

Man he has some guts. I saw him hobbling to the line several times during that last drive. His false starts the past few weeks have been a real pain, but the guy should huge guts fighting through the pain yesterday. Hope he gets well soon!

Stop worrying, guys. We have to sacrifice a player for every win we get. We have been doing it all year.

Always sucks losing a starter but if anyone on the line was expendable it's Brisiel, Caldwell and him battled it out for the starters job so there shouldn't be a drop off.
