is it me or do we not take any mid-range shots? it seems like all our shots are inside of the paint and 3 pointers.
lol i been a fan since yao, moochie, glen rice, cat, franchise days. this teams needs some one with a mid-range game. so far i have not seen anyone do that not even harden. its all great when our 3 pointers are falling but a mid range shot is always a higher percentage!
A mid range game doesn't turn an average team into a contender, so not really sure what that has to do with it. The Rockets are contenders by adding Dwight, who adds a negative affect if anything to our mid range game, so I don't see why if you watched last year you'd assume this year we'd have more mid range jumpers.
is your user in reference to LBJ and wade, and just an attempt at a troll account? strange name to pick for a longtime rockets fan u claim to be
i watch almost every rocket game after yao got drafted. been through the good and bad. props to morey, i thought we had a couple of more years of being mediocre
lol no just happened to be name been a fan since yao got drafted. seen our tough times when we had ryan bowen at PF
I guess you haven't picked up on the clues. Morey prohibits mid range shots. It's been like this for a while.
so your telling me you were not a fan since the san diego days? SMH not a true rockets fan after all..
Harden is the only Rocket who somewhat consistently takes midrange shots. Sure, he usually won't, but there's been many games where he's been on fire and shoots a lot of midrangers. I'd rather him drive to the hoop than take a midrange shot though, and I'm glad he does it most of the time.
if you said you've been watching the rockets since Yao then you're not paying attention to the game. rockets ranked last or near last place last year when talking about the mid range game.
the only player i see that can take mid range consistently is casspi. i've seen him taken it about five times or so. parsons can do it too when he pumped fake at the three and take a step to take the midrange. But as morey has said it himself, he doesn't like the mid range game.
